Art in Odd Places
This is part of my proposal for Art in Odd Places, which is a festival of street and performance art in October. I want to float transparent images along 14th street and put up stickers with QR codes to the images online.

Pictures From The Equinox
I was having a busy day last Thursday, the first day of spring. I caught a few pictures of the morning light.
The light sparkled, but I had only time for one picture on the subway platform.
Equinox was a little before 1pm, by then the sky was clouded over. I was at my sister's house and we went down to her garden. The plants were poised to start budding.
More snow is predicted for tonight, probably the sloppy spring variety.
Update: Nope, the storm just missed us, only cold and wind for nyc.

Winter's End
The snow has been slowly fading, but the days are mostly cold.
The last warm beautiful day, about two weeks ago, I spent most of the day inside doing taxes. I plunged out in the late afternoon on my bicycle. The cold was already blowing back in.
One day, the sun filtered through thin clouds, making New York look a little edgier, not so shiny and modern.
I believe these are some artfully arranged oxidized metal doors. They were in front of a cute little townhouse on Prince Street that seemed to sell antiques.
The last big snowstorm passed south of us and we only got a light dusting. The cats preferred it that way and ventured out.
Voltaire always looks good in the garden.
Coco is more camera shy, but I caught her just before she escaped the frame.
